Re: Did you miss the fact that AMD does the same thing?

Offer rebates that apply only if the company buys 100% of its projected annual sales from AMD, thus barring Intel from the market?

No, I don't think AMD does the same thing.

What came out of that Investor lawsuit was amazing. It wasn't just a smoking gun, more like a video with the shooter and the victim both in-frame.

Payments from Intel extorting Dell to not buy from a third party - multiple payments over a period of years. Payments of over $1,000,000,000 in one of the years. The 3rd party has unquestionably suffered tortious interference.

3 or more instances of extortion is an almost automatic RICO case and RICO trebles damages. Even if you set damages as low as only equal to the summed payments we're looking at Intel paying AMD $6 Billion to $9 Billion in cash.

Look - I've been out of AMD for a long time and posted that I think they're going to single digits on this price war, but I'm also tracking it because the big payment from Intel is much more a case of when rather than if. I think there is going to be a great buying opportunity here after the next couple of quarters' results are reported.

I expect the combination of the price war and lawsuit will put Intel into single digits and a nominal risk of delisting.
