I attribute this downward movement to his little snide commentary.

I wouldn't give Herbie that much credit. IMO, what we are seeing is sympathy selling due to the real or imagined pricewar between WDC, SEG, and QNTM. WDC & SEG may deserve this, QNTM & IOM probably do not. We shall see soon enough.
