Minneapolis (Hennepin County actually) recently adopted a no cigarette smoking ban for bars and restaurants.

I was PERSONALLY delighted because I'm an asthmatic and hate the smell of cigarettes. I also frequently eat out and love to go to bars for music. So when this law came into effect I was quite happy.

Politically I'm a libertarian and this issue I believe does not trump owner rights over personal safety. Secondhand smoke is not harmful enough to justify the law, owners should decide whether or not smoking is to be allowed in their establishment.

So based on this information where would I cast my vote if I had a choice of owners rights vs smoking ban....

I would run over my own mother to cast a vote for the ban.

Screw politics humans will always vote in their own self interest. So who cares if the 420's are biased marijuana should be legal.
