We lost bin Laden when we failed to send troops to Tora Bora. Now it is very hard to get him, even with $25 million bounty on his head. The tribal bonds are fierce and cemented by religious culture and a disdain for the United States. What good is $25 million to a virtually illiterate tribesman herding goats in the no man's land of northern Pakistan? What's he going to do with that money? Retire to Miami Beach?

Remember how long it took to find Noriega in tiny Panama? Or Saddam in Iraq?

Unless the dynamic changes and some tribal elders suddenly decide they don't like bin Laden, it will be pure luck to find him.

How hard can it be to find a 6.6 ft tall Arab who needs dialysis to live ?
