How high should it be set? Everyone has their own standard. Some even think we should never go to war, because like you said, war is very serious business.

Of course, with a draft, you're always going to be sending someone into a battle he or she never agreed to in the first place. Would it force the decision bar higher? I would argue the opposite, that it LOWERS the bar.
