So now that LiverpoolFC has also been bought up by a gringo, I have this dream of making so much f**ing money in the PM stocks that I'll buy control of EvertonFC. What a strange concept... a scouser in control of the club he's followed all his life <g>. No new stadium for us, just renovate good old Goodison Park -- the only* constant in my life for the last 50+ years -- and make it into the world class shrine that it rightly is. Incidentally, when I was a teenager and when John Moores (the former owner of Littlewoods) was the Chairman of Everton, I met his son Davy, who was of course an Everton fan. So what happened when Davy later inherited Daddy's millions? He bought up control of LiverpoolFC -- a shrewd business decision. And what's happened now? He's sold them out to the Yanks! A True Evertonian after all!!! I love the beautiful game. :^) Best regards, Howy
