Gosh Ed. Surprisingly, I find your comments a little fractal. You say I've taken too much Bush drug, but I don't see the connection between that comment with regards to what you asked and I answered.

I made some statements of principle: "In principle, if we are to help at all, it will be by extending our efforts to improve the well being of Iraqis with the same genuine concern we would have for ourselves in a similar circumstance."

You asked me to offer some specific strategic direction for us in relation to the dilemma in Iraq, which I did and I founded my comments on the logic of the options available.

I agree that the situation in Iraq is a monumental challenge but I don't see how your comments to me are responsive to the logic I offered for your consideration. Perhaps we are at the end of that road.
