When I taught high school many years ago, I always showed a documentary on Germany's concentration comps. And I am of German decent. I wanted them to know this is the dark side of man we must relentlessly guard against. Evil is not particular to any people. It resides in all people. As does an ability to live without thinking-lol. Dangerous combination-lol. Dickens described it well. The very first thing I look for in any politician, is compassion.
