Several years back HEW management announced that the PC division(s) will be scaled back as there was no future in PCs. This was just after there was a drive in the company to reduce the amount of paper consumed in our printers and then some one figure out that hp made printers. That decision was filed in the WPB. May there was something good has come out of the merger with CPQ. It saved the PC divisions at CPQ and HEW over all.
