loachscout, we dems/liberals have been completely powerless (we do not have a parimentary form of government)and are in a state of extreme depression and fear. Look what has been going on since we gained power. Raised the minium wage, reduced student loans and challenged Bush on the war. In our congress, the majority not only rules, but has all power, like committee chairmanships and supeona power. We are mortified by what has been going on. We liberals have all read The Man in a Gray Flannel Suit about GM's hedgemony in the 50's/60's and Steppenwolf by Herman Hessa. Not to Mention Animal Farm and 1984-lol.
