OT/I still like the impact on costs the Chinese will have on solar. I'm biased, I graduated from a 6 month course run by Siemens on designing and installing solar systems. Considering a solar panel has an RLI of 35 years (they're generally guaranteed not to lose 90-95% of their rated output) I have always thought a portfolio of solar power plants (on the tops of building roofs, as one Japanese trading house has done)could be a nice way to add to the RLI of one's energy portfolio. Certainly with most conventional oil and gas RLIs at 8-12 years, it is something to be aware of. A nice group of uranium plays can also be a good portfolio RLI boost.
