If you go to a mosque, you will hear the words (apologies for spelling mistakes) :
La Illah, il ilah, Mohamed il rasul-illah.

It means in English - there is no god but god, and mohammed is his messenger.

Is this any different from Christians believing that Jesus is the messenger or Jewish faith people believing that Moses is the messenger, or Buddhists believing that Gautam Budha was their messenger or Jains believing that Mahavir Jain was their messenger ?
