Lindy is right & wrong - normal sexual activity only puts you at risk if your partner is HIV infected.

And blood contact ensues. I remember when this first broke in the early 80's the question was, "can you get it if you swallow?" The answer is, "only if you have an open sore in your system where the semen can contact blood." For instance, an open sore in your mouth or throat, or an ulcer in your stomach or intestines.
