(Either way, it stands to benefit our national interests). "...don't blame me for that." I don't. (But I do blame any people short-sighted enough to want to extend this massive drain upon American resources for the legitimate HARM such policies do to AMERICA.) "But, for you or anyone to suggest that if we leave they will kill each other off and all the other problems will go away" I have NEVER suggested that "all problems would go away" (so don't even TRY to put those words in my mouth!). I simply pointed out that conditions would most likely be MUCH BETTER for the United States (& for 'Western' strategic interests in general...) the very INSTANT Uncle Sucker quits it's involvement in the Iraq war, stops doing the 'fighting for' one side or the other... and allows matters to proceed under their own steam. "... is completely and totally childlike and naive." Exactly the same opinion I have of anyone who wants to continue the disastrous direction of current policies... Naive and childlike.
