Glad to see a few on topic ideas today. Not global warming, new names for Americans, (IE people from New Zealand are Kiwi birds<g>), liberals in Canada or elsewhere being conservatives etc etc.

Back on topic please I know none of you have made any money recently in mining stocks.

Want a good pick follow some of tyke's posts. DSR, maybe RNG, LSG etc. ?

Hugh Cleland runs a highly successful hedge fund says this:
<We continue to favour this leaning toward tech and health, believing that although significant opportunities remain in the resource area—we specifically like the two yellow metals, gold and uranium>

<We started the year with 6 core positions: Kodiak Oil and Gas, Absolute Software, Webtech Wireless, Systems Xcellence, Neptune, and Qustream. Western Goldfields moved from the farm team to the core after Randall Oliphant (the former CEO of Barrick Gold) joined as Chairman, and recruited a world-class mine development team from Barrick, resulting in the stock moving from US$0.19 at the start of the year, to over US$2.00 by May>

He is sticking with WGI as one of his only mining stocks in the PF.
