Q-Gold Resources Ltd (QAU.V)

Have looked at this one, has properties south-east of Kenora, Mine Central its called. It appears to be strictly exploratory at this time. The following is from the companies home page:

"Q-Gold is committed to the exploration and reactivation of the historic gold camp at Mine Centre, Ontario, where the Company owns (100%) over 27,000 contiguous acres of gold mining claims and leases.  The properties contain five historical gold mines including two that combined, produced over 16,000 ounces in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. These properties represent the first cohesive exploration land package ever assembled at Mine Centre, where the Company is also implementing a modern exploration program. Management believes that, based on geological, structural and mineralogical similarities, the Mine Centre properties have significant potential to host a modern world class gold camp similar to those found at Red Lake and Kirkland Lake, Ontario, where total combined gold production exceeds 47 million ounces. Q-Gold's efforts are therefore dedicated to that end, through a comprehensive, well-funded exploration program and the re-opening and re-entry of past producing gold mines located within its Mine Centre Properties."

It closed at 0.23 on Friday. Daily chart is not flattering and the weekly is not much better.

If the possibilities are anything like the Red Lake and Campbell gold mines as well as Musselwhite, the mind can go on forever.

Anyone have thoughts on this one?

Regards

Ernest
