Falsity is implied in sliming. But let us suppose that all the Iraqi exiles deserved everything bad the CIA said about them. The CIA was saying the bad things from day one, clearly from 2001 on, it was DoD that was using the exiles and the CIA that was insulting them. Then in 2003 the CIA claimed that it was fooled by the same Iraqi exiles in had been insulting and undermining for years! That argument self-destructs upon examination.
