She was working on preventing the proliferation of WMDs. What happened to her contacts or her work is also secret so you wouldn't know anything about that. I thought the entire purpose of the Neocon-Israel agenda was to toppled Iraq and use its oil and its 'friendly and grateful' populace to project US power permanently into the region. Turkey wasn't going to let anyone use its bases for a full scale regional takeover, Afghanistan is the wild and woolly west, Saudi Arabia made Bush remove troops...where was there going to be a base to project power if not in Iraq? On paper, it makes sense at least to Neocons. I think it started off as a weekend game of Risk at Kristol's house and it got leaked out by accident and landed in Cheney's lap. After that all hell broke loose. :)
