I think Germany has gone too far though in making holocaust denial a criminal activity. There are 5 countries in Europe where Holocaust denial is illegal; Germany, Austria, France, Poland and Belgium. I'm not sure why Germany seems to get all the press on it. I can't criticize them for it. It was too horrendous of a crime that they were too close to. It's easy for us, 5,000 miles away from the concentration camps to think "free speech". I don't believe it represents any slippery slope argument. The Holocaust was unique in so many ways that it doesn't compare to Rwanda, Cambodia, or even what Stalin did. jttmab
