LCD screens--just in case anybody else wants
to know--the 37" Insignia is down to $600 at
Best Buy--if they have it in stock...

That said, I upgraded mine today to a 42"
Westinghouse, and this is a much nicer unit--
worth checking that brand out, better response
time and contrast, bigger, and $1000--at least
that is what I paid for an open box LVM-42W2.

At first I had not color, just blueish--then
I changed the ouptut from my DVD player from
the S-Video to YPbPr and presto!

Also remember to change your screen size to 16:9
for a bigger image with smaller letterbox black
strips. I think I have that right.

And last--the model I have doesn't have a RF TV
receiver (no tv tuner) so if you have basic cable
(no cable box) you will have to run TV through your
VCR first and output that video signal into the LCD
monitor. I don't know what that video is, but it
is just a single rca video cord, plus two more for
sound.
