Sounds pretty on-topic. Looks almost like the second word of the thread name. In fact environmentAL is exactly it.
So what is victory? A livable planet in 2100; one which appears to be stable and livable thru 2200. That's at least a partial victory. If we could find ways to sequester the carbon, a CO2 level of < 400 would be really nice. Our great grandkids would probably say "Mission Accomplished".
