I don't know about you, but when I think of nuclear bombs, the horrible part isn't that they're very big bombs, but that nuclear waste and fallout poison the earth, air and water for a very long time.
Nobody knew at the time that people would still be dying for months from radiation poisoning, for years from cancers, for generations from genetic abnormalities.
So when you talk about how bad the US was to use these horrible weapons, please don't accuse us of deliberately using nuclear waste and fallout to poison the Japanese. That's a lie.
And don't forget, we were attacked. Not just Pearl Harbor, also US bases and interests all over the Pacific, all at the same time. The Japanese killed millions of people.
They killed 15 million civilians and POWs, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Indonesian, Burmese, Indochinese civilians, Pacific Islanders, and Allied POWs were killed. en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org
Now that you're American, you might consider learning our history.
We were the good guys in WWII. I hope even Win would admit that. |
