When I was doing the Farmers Market circuit, I did all the gardening manually. Had about 5000 square feet I would till with a U-Bar. Goes fast, once the ground is in shape. en.wikipedia.org Right now, I'm working on a load of gravel I had delivered for my road. Do that manually, too; throw a bunch in my truck, drive to a bad spot, and throw it on. I could get somebody with a Cat to do it in an hour, but it is good occupational therapy. But everybody knows I am insane :>)
