ADMs deposit is just the kind of deposit that Barrick and Newmont like. They both have became major miners by developing low grade large open pit systems. The biggest mine in Barricks stable is the Round Mountain mine in Nevada grading only 1gt but 20+ million oz in it.You can bet that if Newmont is looking to replace reserves as they have fallen way behind to Barrick in the past few years, will jump at the chance to buy Volcan.Large companies can only move the reserve needle on the balance sheet with large ore bodies.ADM is clearly a prime target for a big shark like Newmont or Barrick.
