This particular instance involves an article published to mock some extreme group of religious authorities who ordered something …. ‘Extreme’ in their part of the world. This article, referencing this relatively obscure, over reactive and extreme position of some self righteous sheik has been bolstered repeatedly by your little band. We could ask why but we don’t really need to do we now.
Could it be so that the information about the 10 million estimated Muslim neighbors in North America gets out, so PETA can run a campaign to protect North American goats? Well, I wouldn’t be shocked to see you all promoting such ludicrousness. But it wouldn’t be out of your concern for animal rights would it. Nahhh, It’d be another disingenuous ploy to incite hatred toward your Muslim neighbors. That is all this goat thing amounts to and you know it. Its where most of your efforts on the cult thread are focused … and this is no different.
Being informed is disgusting? Absolutely not. What you all are doing is different, even the opposite of informing. You are taking information that may be founded on a grain of truth and twisting it into falsehood with the goal of persecuting millions of innocent people, some of them your neighbors.
Do you have an issue with reliable news reports? Why would such news reports be so troubling for you?
News of horrific or unjust circumstances in the world always troubles me. It seems to titillate you all in your zeal for persecution.

The content of articles on the cult thread are sometimes very revealing of events or circumstances in the world... events and circumstances that I find totally unacceptable. With regards to most of it, I have been a staunch and outspoken critic of those types of events and circumstances for many years. In three D life as well as here.

You are mistaken … again. I’ve not responded to the post in question at all. I have responded to the conduct of those who are promoting the behavior of beastiality as being representative of Muslims. I find the information in the reports to be somewhat revealing of how extreme and odd religious authority can get. Somewhat reminiscent of the dark ages mentality. You might want to check out a history of shepherding. I did a report on it for high school many decades ago. As a teen I was shocked by this particular wrinkle. The references I had access to at the time were written by western historians, who were documenting western practices. The basic facts of the story are probably true. That is not shocking to me,I see extremely odd behavior from those who think they represent extremist authority almost daily … yours for example.
