Pakistan arrests 3 suspected suicide bombers (another plot) english.people.com.cn Police in southern Pakistani city of Karachi on Friday said they have arrested three suspected suicide members and foiled their plan of suicide bombing. The suspects were arrested at Gulistan Johar locality of the city, and three jackets, ready for blasts, were also recovered from them, said Fayaz Khan, Superintendent Police Criminal Investigation Department, quoted by the private News Network International news agency. The suspected "suicide bombers", belonging to Qari Zafar group, have confessed during interrogation that the group has links with al-Qaeda, Khan said. The police officer said that the suspects had planned suicide bombing in Karachi but their plan was frustrated. Pakistan has seen several deadly bombing attacks in recent weeks in the capital city Islamabad and northwestern areas, and over 20 people including the suicide attackers were killed.
