The tragedy of the commons is a good argument for private ownership, and against collective ownership.

Its supports my point and isn't really connected to yours.

For a system to work, it has to produce wealth. Even if you want to redistribute some of that wealth you have to create it first. Socialism/communism has been relatively poor at producing wealth.
