The only brussel sprouts worth eating are tiny ones and fresh. I used to have to eat those little cabbages as a child under the watchful eye of my Mom. The neatest thing was that you could peel them, but we were not allowed to do that either... they were for eating...not playing with at the table.

I came from a home that taught 'sit up straight and chew with your mouth closed' type manners... hehehe

When the watchful eye turned away after watching me chew and chew and chew some of them got to meet my napkin ;)

I can appreciate the smaller fresh ones now IF someone serves them to me.
