It took me about that long for my eyes to adjust to their new tasks. Just when you think you have it down, you'll have one of those moments where you'll feel cross eyed or it will take some concentration to focus. You'll have to mentally order your eye (which ever function you are trying to perform) to do what it needs to do in order to see. It is a little annoying and you'll sometimes wonder if it is really going to work, but I can tell you from first hand knowledge it eventually all works itself out and goes away. Keep at it and give it some time, and you will be so happy you did.
