"<< Yeah, right on...we didn't have time for the basic arithmetic in the 80s because we too busy arming them in Afghanistan and giving WMD materials to Saddam in Iraq. Now we are arming and training them in Iraq again. We have to get this Iraq stuff over soon so our "defense" industry contractors can ship some more F 16s to Saudi Arabia. Hopefully we will also soon get the chance to ship arms to Iran. We can call it the "Arms for Hostages" program. The Right will fully support that one too. And let's not forget Israel...they are very good at calming down things in the Islamic world...ship them some more cluster bombs to kill Islamic civilians and laser guided missiles such as the ones that blew up the oil refineries near Beirut last summer that very severely have polluted the Med near Beirut.
