Hi Ralph -

>>>>>>>>>>
cmm- has collapsed in the last year
Any upside for this turd ?
>>>>>>>>>>

I own 125,000 shares and I am just now getting to be
in for 1 year.

With respect to your question, I don't know the answer,
but if you decide to buy-in - this is (in part) what
you are buying.

All my opinion - no facts involved. Make sure you
understand this before reading on.

(1) You cannot trust any press release at its face value.

(2) You will not see any continuity between press releases.

(3) Peggy Kent only lives in the NOW - just like dogs and
cats .... and very much not like humans.

(4) If she stays true to form when we least expect it
cmm will merge or buy somebody. And this will kill
current shareholders.

(5) If Peggy Kent is a CEO then I'm an astronaut.

At the present time i.e. with 4th quarter earnings coming
up:

(a) I am scared $shitless that she has sold calls on
gold ... to get cash quicker to maintain the 2007
cap. exp budget

(b) Peggy Kent *KNOWS* that the true price of gold is
$550 an oz. Any other number (in her mind) is an
aberration.

(c) I've actually booked a bazillion debits/credits in
my lifetime - but I think (don't know) we are pushing
back onto the balance sheet - some of the - don't
know the mining word - scrape? costs - i.e. our expected
ration is 5:1 and we are realizing 8:1 right now. I think
some of these costs are being pushed back to the balance
sheet which means the expense will come forward to
the P&L in some future period.

(d) One of the mantras is that cmm missed its years because
the 4 trucks needed to move the mountain of waste at
Sigma were delivered LATE. I don't by this at all.

I can't prove it but my thinking is that CMM said give
me your most OPTIMISTIC date - the truck company did -
and then CMM ran with the OPTIMISTIC date. Why did
they do this - unmitigated guile.

(e) Another surprize in Dec. was a press release stating
that cmm could not mine Lamaque because they did not
have the proper environmental studies submitted. CMM
i.e. Peggy Kent said that they (the mgt. team were
embarrassed) but they thought all was well.

Not a chance - way back when somebody took the low road
and said lets wing this .... they got caught.

(f) Ralph I have to be very careful how I word this.

And you will have to trust that I know what I am
talking about. Do a google on lithium - see what it
is used for - then read the Aug 7th and Aug 15 th
press releases - and draw your own conclusion. I have
had mine since Aug. 16th.

(g) Do the have gold? Yes.
How much - beats me.

(h) Their game plan (their budget) is to mine 100,000oz
in 2007.

(i) Can they make that number - a year ago I would have
said they *can't* miss it - now its just more *comfortable*
to PEE in my PANTS.

(j) Got a question for you. I cannot tell the difference
between a rock and a stone and a bird turd. But
CMM just released some drilling results in San Juan
Peru. I think what they found is as wide as a centipede
and is 700 feet down.

Question:Why would you release a press release like that
or is it implied that it goes all the way up to the
surface.

In summary - there are too many positive stocks many
of which are posted by a whole bunch of bright boys
and girls on this and other boards. So if you jump
in - you might consider just going in with your toes.

If my post has confused you - I apologize.

regards,
John McCarthy
