Peter, There was a time, many years ago, when people could look to the newspapers for the truth which was before television, and even in some cases, before the radio broadcasts. In those days, the media printed, or told, and reported accurate information. somewhere along the way, the media decided they could twist the news and influence their audience, and many of the people thought they were still reporting instead of manufacturing the news. Too many voters are too lazy to look deeply into what a party, or candidate, really stand for. If they had looked into the background of Hillary Rodham, she never would have been elected dog catcher, and Teddy Kennedy would have been run out of Massachusetts tarred and feathered.
