Random anecdotal information about Sonus.... I shared a cab with a guy who was a telecom engineer for a company that does backend work for a bunch of smaller telco's. So, of course, I had to ask if he worked with Sonus equipment. His enthusiasm for Sonus was literally over the top. They are in the midst of installing two VoIP gateways and his experiences have all been good. When I asked about the competition, he said Telica (Lucent) was the closest but that you would automatically blow your budget versus what you could do with Sonus. As he put it, if he was looking for employment the first door he would go knock on was Sonus. Not much new info, but I always like getting some unbiased information. His responses were all without knowing how I knew anything about Sonus or why I would be asking. Slacker
