I cannot speak for American Teachers, but Canadian teachers are already grossly overpaid. In a capitalistic country - you want quality you have to pay for it. In a socialistic (or communist) country the state takes care of teachers. Want to live well in a communist country - become a teacher. Teachers in Cuba rule!
