I think it is noteworthy that both companies delayed their CC's until after the merger negotiations. Leads me to believe that the news is bad enough going forward that both companies felt that a proposed merger was the only way to make this business model work on paper.

It is silly, downright ignorant, to suggest that the merger was "cooked up" overnight to deal with SIRI's lousy Q4 earnings call. Obviously, this kind of deal takes a lot of time to work out and didn't just happen in the last couple weeks.

I would think, as a fountain of knowledge, you would have comprehended this.
