Can we use this in court...From Ameritrade Mr. xxxxx, Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to assist you today. TD Ameritrade has been in contact with the Depository Trust Company (DTC) regarding a possible exchange of shares for BCIT. The information we have received indicated that the DTC has not received any official information from the company?s transfer agent regarding a corporate action. As a result, TD Ameritrade is unable to process a stock exchange as we have not received any official notification or payment for an exchange of shares. Should an exchange take place, your account would be updated accordingly upon receipt of payment. Please note that TD Ameritrade does not allow for short selling of Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board securities. Therefore, TD Ameritrade does not hold a naked short position in this security. In regards to your transfer inquiry, the transfer of shares was not able to be effected through the ACATS system. At this time, TD Ameritrade has not received the physical stock certificate for these shares from the delivering firm. Laurie W.
