Have you noticed how popular I have made myself when I came here. Telling the truth and confronting corruption has never made people popular and never will.

I am not convinced that is the best approach to change. One of the things I agree with Bush and the Dems on is that we need to engage the enemy on their turf. They are visible and the issues are in the open, in a way that we can deal with it. If you close down schools where hatred for America is being taught, you drive the issue further underground. If we know this is being done in private Islamic schools we can address the parents who send their kids to those schools, and since many of them are American citizens we can focus that discussion on the values of the American culture of which they are members. You shutter the schools you immediately create adversaries where community members once lived.
