Most countries don't have mass murderers? I'm not so sure that's a true statement.

Every country with a population near or greater than ours has had mass murderers.

Privately owned guns are a useful defense against mass murderers because the murderers can be stopped before the cops can respond, and such guns have been used to stop mass murderers. The death toll at one of the most famous incidents the 1966 University of Texas clock tower shooting) was kept down by private citizens returning fire.

You honestly think that these isolated incidents justify the level of guns in this society and the high crime rate???? Sorry, like so many other things on the right's agenda, its just another example of trying to justify something that is very wrong.
