Yaacov, You are a man afterr my own heart. I have learned long ago that trying to time the market keeps you in a pressure cooker emotionally and phychologically. You also get caught in an obessive and compulsive urge to trade in attempts to regain your losses and to hopefully makes quick killings.The kind of killings you make are the kind that gives you heartburn and sleepless nights. I am a firm believer in the buy and hold of good companies but there are the think tanks out there that find it a challenge to write and create stories of catastrophe that would cause the die hards to break their comitments and trade.
