I think you're completely wrong on this one.

I think the UAE, Saudi, Kuwait and Iran have laws based on sharia, which is religious law. I don't know the rest, but I think many of the so called Muslim nations use sharia as the basis for their law. Liberal countries like the UAE have sharia law that only apply to Muslims (I can drink and buy booze, but they can't). Less liberal countries like Saudi and Kuwait have it apply to everyone (no one can drink booze, help!).
