I wouldn't feel so badly about what we pay teachers if I didn't know that my 2 nieces and my nephew have no idea how to spell, or do anything but the most simple math. The very idea that people unable to spell all have or are in the middle of College educations, and no one seems to mind makes me realise that the rot starts at the bottom and goes all the way to the top.
