IMO, Bush placed way too much trust in Tenet after 9/11. That combined with the pressure to go to war with Iraq made the CIA once again the joke of the entire world. And Tenet was right there playing along. Given all this, I would not trust Tenet to "tell it straight," unless he's willing to own up completely to his part in neutering the CIA.

Paaalease....Cheney and Rummy established THEIR OWN intelligence agency, which often brushed aside what was coming from the CIA...and lots of tension was reported between the two agencies.

I am not getting the drift? Give me a break.
