Maybe I should spend more time reading the newspaper. After my previous post I got a look at the listing of insider sales by KLAC executives in Monday's San Jose Mercury News. There were about a dozen of them in August. Maybe that is what the market was reacting to. If so, it looks like an overreaction to me. If you look at the total number of shares held vs. the number sold, the results are mixed, but when the chairman of the board is only selling 40,000 shares out of a total of 1.5 million, it does not look like a "leaving a sinking ship" scenario to me.
