Where does the NRA stand on Rudy? Wonder what would happen if the democratic contender for President was more protective of the 2nd than the republican? Here in the west I withdrew my membership in the NRA when they came out favoring conservatives, even though the democrats had perfect gun protection records. That was a long time ago, but I was very disappointed in the NRA and don't think I could ever support them again. At that time they were more interested in pushing hot buttons to get money than they were in supporting gun rights. My position on the 2nd, is one of the reasons it's important for me for the republicans to pick an anti war candidate. I would absolutely hate to vote for Hillary because I thought she was the best chance to end the madness in Iraq - but I will not hesitate if republicans put up McCain.
