As for using a geometric average there isn't anything wrong about that,

Yes, there is. It is hardly a best fit to the data. It's an outlier. Want to make more crooked benchmarks? Find one where due to some driver bug, the AMD machine, say, takes 100 times as long on some cooked up benchmark. Then claim that "on average" over 50 benchmarks, the AMD machine is "over twice as slow!"

Or find one where a driver bug causes the AMD machine to crash. Then "on average" the AMD machine "is infinitely slower".

Bogus methodology.
