Manipulation of truth? Okay, what was manipulated? Well to take just one - the one in the news that every American should be watching to see how this administration operates - the Niger report. First, Bush; Bush promised the American people when Wilson was outed that he cared and would get rid of anyone in his administration that was responsible for the outing. It is now clear that Libby - through Cheney and Rowe - was responsible. Another dishonest promise by Bush!.......And then the report; Cheney didn't like what the report said that there was NO yellow-cake going from Niger to Iraq (Saddam). Instead of looking into the report that didn't fit his desired outcome he instead used their favorite tactic and attacked the messenger. These are not traits that I respect. That is just one of many. I'm not going to waste my time debating point by point the manipulation of the truth with you. I'm not going to convince you and you will not convince me. But I will say this; republicans are shooting themselves in the foot by constantly defending Bush. There is no mistake what the message by the American people was in the last election. I held my nose and voted democratic to send a message. I will do it again and again until the republicans come back to what their party use to represent. Respectfully; steve
