who the hell is in charge of this market. HP's report was solid. They are well poised to break 100 mm in revenue, and shoot through it.

They sucked up every bit of mistakes that Dell was destined to make.

Large IS servers are roaring at 70% growth, busily replacing the old risk sector, where HP is eating there own young, with no end to growth at the expense of Sunw and IBM in sight.

Dead wood is being cut. Read the yahoo thread which is peopled by losers who used to work at NCR or HP.

It is all good,

But the stock drops 2 bucks.

The only answer is that the entire market is peopled with private hedge fund day-trading morons looking to turn lead into gold.
