MEMY - ouch!

Memory Pharmaceuticals Corp.'s (MEMY) fourth-quarter loss widened to $14.7 million, or 23 cents a share, from $3.65 million, or 10 cents, a year earlier.
The Montvale, N.J., drug developer said Thursday results for the latest period included a loss of $6.05 million for warrants issued in the company's September 2005 private placement and a share-based compensation charge of $544,000.

The biopharmaceutical company posted a loss of $8.14 million, or 13 cents a share, before items for the latest period. Total operating costs rose to $12.3 million from $10.2 million. Memory Pharmaceuticals' fourth-quarter revenue fell to $2.64 million from $3.71 million.
