Compare that with the 2.9% annual growth during the "golden" years of t the Japan and Germany's miracles. This is the fastest growth in average would income in the whole history. When America and Britain were industralizing in the 19th century, they took 50 years to double their income. China did that in 9 years. Emerging markets are the important boys over half of the combined exports of America, euro area and Japan go to emerging markets.
