ARRS tender offer for Tandberg TV made ARRS glamorous. As tender offer goes, there is money to be made if managed by investment bankers on Wall street. Oracle did well acquiring Peoplesoft, even if it was lengthy. The initial value of Peoplesoft stock acquired made a profit.
